• 1979.  President's of Warsaw University Award for  "Excellence in Teaching".

• 1983.  President's of Warsaw University Award for  "Excellence in Teaching".

• 1990/91.  Highest  teaching evaluations in the Department of  Physics of  the Texas A&M University for undergraduate physics course.

• 1991/92.  Highest  teaching evaluations in the Department of  Physics of  the Texas A&M University for undergraduate physics course.

• 1996.  Nominated for “The Outstanding Faculty Award” by faculty of John A. Logan College.

• 1999.  John A. Logan College Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Leadership Award “For Collegiate Professionalism and Pursuit of Excellence in Science and Engineering Education”.

• 2007.  Nominated for “The ICCTA Outstanding Faculty Member Award" by faculty of John A. Logan College.

• 2008.  John A. Logan College. "Distinguished Service Award".

Note: In 1998 John A. Logan College has been rated by The Rolling Stone Magazine among  Top 10 Community Colleges in the Nation.
