John A. Logan College Foundation Awards Seven Student Achievement Awards
Carterville, Illinois—The John A. Logan College Foundation has announced the selection of Alais de Hoogh and Blanca Rodriguez of Carbondale; Christopher Madden of Du Quoin; Jennifer Clark and Amanda Sherrard of Herrin; and Valeria Freiboth and Ella Kelly of Marion as recipients of this year’s John A. Logan College Foundation 2010 Student Achievement Awards.
Student’s must be nominated by a John A. Logan College staff or faculty member and be interviewed by a committee of John A. Logan College Foundation Directors. The awards committee pays particular attention to challenges the student has overcome and the perseverance with which he/she has pursued an educational goal. A total of $5,000 was awarded.
